The HR Management Strategy Roundtable will present a discussion about creating effective job descriptions with a program called "What Have You Done for Me Lately?" from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 at the Best Western Posada Royale Hotel & Suites, 1775 Madera Road.
Led by attorney Karen L. Gabler of LightGabler LLP, the breakfast meeting will illustrate how defining an employee's role is a critical component of workplace productivity, strategic planning and legal compliance in addition to how job descriptions can provide guidance on meeting a company's goals and the supervisor's expectations while protecting against workplace litigation.
Gabler will speak on the specifics of using job descriptions for companywide strategic planning. Participants will receive hands-on, step-by-step guidance on creating a job description for the position of their choice during the program.
